About Bari Tessler:
Bari Tessler is a financial therapist, author, and founder of The Art of Money (which is a methodology, a year-long money school, and a book!). She originally trained as a psychotherapist and received her master’s degree in somatic psychology. Then, she ran a bookkeeping business for therapists, coaches, and artists, and boy, did she learn a lot! In 2001, she merged all her training and created a financial therapy methodology that weaves together personal, couple, and creativepreneur finances into one tapestry. In her group programs and private financial therapy, she has used her knowledge and skill to guide thousands of people to new, more loving, and refreshingly honest relationships with money. Rick Kahler, MSFP,CFP ® , CFT-1™, CeFT ® , CCIM, president of Kahler Financial Group, is a life-long resident of Rapid City, SD. He began his professional career in 1973 selling and appraising real estate He founded Kahler Financial Group in 1981. He became the first fee-only Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP ® ) in South Dakota in 1983. In 2020 he became one of the first Certified Financial Therapist-Level I (CFT-I™,) in the nation.
One of the requirements to obtain this designation is completing 500 hours of approved experiential training. These therapists are both financial professionals and mental health professionals.
